ACT is a provider of classroom-based career training and job placement to individuals. ACT operates in Boston, New York, New Jersey, and Maryland. ACT differentiates its product offerings through a co-branding program with universities. In Boston ACT operates in partnership with Clark University, in New York with Skidmore College, in New Jersey with Farleigh Dickinson University, and in Maryland with Johns Hopkins University. ACT was founded in 1994. FFL invested in ACT in 1999 to provide liquidity to founders as well as capital for growth.

FFL sold its interest in ACT in 2007.

American Advisors Group (“AAG”) is a leading reverse mortgage company based in Orange, California. The company originates FHA-insured Home Equity Conversion Mortgages (HECM)—commonly known as reverse mortgages—and issues HECM securities that are insured by GNMA. AAG’s advertisements feature acclaimed actor Tom Selleck as spokesperson.

FFL invested in 2012 to provide growth capital and liquidity to founders.

Eyemart co-locates with entrepreneurial doctors who independently conduct eye exams and sell contact lenses.

Eyemart Express is headquartered in Farmers Branch, TX and operates under the Eyemart Express, Vision4Less, Eyewear Express, VisionMart Express and 20/20 Express trade names. FFL invested in Eyemart alongside the Barnes Family in December 2014.

Serving a growing and prosperous region with a full range of deposit services and business, commercial real estate, construction, residential, agricultural and consumer loans, the company provides community banking services in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California and Utah.

FFL's original investment was in SKBHC Holdings LLC, a bank holding company formed by Scott Kisting in 2010, a highly accomplished banking executive. SKBHC Holdings LLC merged with Banner on October 1, 2015.

Benevis provides various non-clinical services to group dental practices, including providing dental facilities, support staff, and other business services. Kool Smiles and Resolution Dental are the firm’s two major clients. Kool Smiles is a nationally-branded provider of dental care focused primarily on children enrolled in Medicaid and State Children's Health Insurance Programs. The limited access to care for children on Medicaid/SCHIP plans provides an attractive growth opportunity for Kool Smiles as it continues to expand offices with a mission to provide quality care to this underserved population. Resolution Dental is a family focused practice serving communities with limited access to affordable dental care options. Families seeking affordable options for routine dental care provides an attractive market space for growth.

The company is headquartered in Atlanta, GA. FFL invested in Benevis in 2004 to provide growth capital and liquidity to founders. In 2006, FFL made a separate investment in a newly-formed Benevis franchisee, DPMS, Inc. Benevis merged with DPMS in 2010.
